The Enforcement Division is responsible for controlling all activities violating wildlife laws. The main functions of this section are:

  • Enforce the Wildlife Conservation Enactment 1997
  • Run roadblocks, patrols and spot-checks
  • Conduct inspections of wildlife pets
  • Control the smuggling of wildlife and wildlife products  
  • Conduct prosecutions
  • Survey and investigates activities that are violating wildlife laws
  • Arrange all informations related to the hunting  of wildlife animals and wildlife trade activities
  • Cooperates with CITES and TRAFFIC at international level in controlling wildlife smuggling and trafficking
